I have a confession. my reclamation to running has been slow moving. so when I thought I could run miles and miles on pensacola beach, I may have overestimated myself just a bit. picture me now :: sore calves, weak ankles, hurt self-esteem (especially after seeing how I flail my arms, yikes)...
but if you're a much stronger runner than me, then pensacola beach really is the most perfect run. beaches on a caribbean island are pretty and they're plenty, but they are also littered with overgrown shrubs and rocky cliffs--the makings for a stressed, convoluted run, if you ask me. I would much rather set my mind on auto-pilot and run on miles and miles of sand that looks and feels like sugar. and despite the pain, beach running is an excellent workout and the ambiance isn't too shabby, either.
hoping your will-power and runs are going better than mine!
